Welcome to Lighthouse Worship & Ministry

Lighthouse welcomes Bro. John and Sis. Carolyn Muncy - October 2 and 3!

Bro.  Muncy has spoken at Lighthouse many times through the years and always brings a pointed, relevant message.  He is led by the spirit and seeks the Lord for the messages specific to today for our congregation.  Bro. Muncy will be joining us for both Sunday services and will holding a Monday evening service at 7:00 as well. These messages are so powerful you will not want to miss even one service, so please mark your calendars and invite your friends and family!

Sunday Morning     10:45 AM

Sunday Evening            7:00 PM

Monday Evening           7:00 PM

"Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him: and a threefold cord is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

God also encourages us to bear one another’s burdens. We also find in the scriptures that we are all part of the Body of Christ. Compared to the human body, we know that if just one part of the body is suffering, it affects the entire body. It is enlightening to spend some time comparing the human body and the Body of Christ. A few years ago I broke my little toe. It seemed rather insignificant until I cracked it on the ottoman. WOW, did that hurt! I found that I really wasn’t interested in food that first couple of days. My foot HURT! It was painful to lie in bed if the covers touched it. It certainly kept me focused on IT. We see much the same effect in the Body of Christ. Although a member may be small, if they are hurting, it affects each member of the Body. This is why we are to love one another and care for one another as though it were ourselves in pain. That hurting member needs our focus, prayers and comfort. Jesus said, "By this shall all men know you are my disciples if you have love one for another.  May we constantly be aware of how much we need each other! That threefold cord of any two of us and Christ Jesus forms a powerful force for the kingdom of God!

Welcome to Lighthouse Worship & Ministry Center

Lighthouse is a community of people who have been transformed by the saving grace of God through the blood of Jesus Christ.  We believe that every person who attends Lighthouse is special, because God's Word tells us that we were made in His image...and that is special!  As individuals and as a church group, it is our desire to exhibit God's love to all those with whom we have contact.

Our mission statement:
"Changing lives of individuals through the promise of a life with no limits in Christ Jesus", truly reflects the feelings of  those who call Lighthouse their church home.  Through Christ Jesus we are changed and have found there are no limits to the love and power of God through Christ Jesus.

We hope that you have been able to find the information you were seeking regarding our church.  We encourage you to come back often to see how the church is growing and moving under God's direction.  We also want to personally extend an invitation to you to visit our church.  Whether you are single or have a family, we are confident that you will find Lighthouse to be a place where you are encouraged, challenged and equipped to become a more committed follower of Jesus Christ.

We hope to meet you soon!

Mission Outreach…
Locally, Lighthouse reaches out to our community, specifically here in the Fern Creek area. Our Lighthouse Sees You program in partnership with Fern Creek Highview United Ministries provides food and clothing for those in need.

Our Lighthouse 20/20 Program reaches out to those who are in search of a new life through a relationship with Christ Jesus.

Globally, Lighthouse supports Pastor Samuel Kimotho of Nakuru, Kenya and his church, New Beginnings. Our Adopt a Plate program helps feed his church members which include about 60 orphan children. Our donations help Pastor Samuel and his family personally, most recently by providing clean drinking water in their home.

About Our Ministry

Learn About Our Ministry

Greetings in the lovely Name of Jesus. We invite you to Lighthouse Worship and Ministry Center. Our message is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That He was born of a virgin and that He died on a cross for the forgiveness of our sin through His blood. That He rose from the dead on the third day and is seated at the right hand of God in Heaven. We believe He sent His Holy Spirit for mankind in His stead until He returns to claim His Church. If you are looking for a church home where every person is special, we welcome you. We are here to minister to needs and lift up Jesus.
